FCII CRATE & BASKET SERIES
Choose an injection molding configuration for your crate or basket project, based on the product, mold and production requirements.

PRODUCT FIT
Crates and baskets can be evaluated within the same FCII equipment series. The final machine, injection unit and mold interface still depend on the exact product.

Share the outside dimensions, product weight, material, stacking or load requirements and mold status.
Open-wall geometry, rigidity targets, filling demand, ejection and part handling must be reviewed together.
Handle geometry, basket depth, mold actions and removal method can change the required configuration.
VERIFIED FCII RANGE
Six FCII model records are available in the project source data. Model selection begins with the crate or basket and its mold—not clamping force alone.

| Model | Clamping force | PS reference shot weight | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| HMD320FCII | 3,200 kN | 1,150–1,385 g | Discuss this model |
| HMD370FCII | 3,700 kN | 1,385–1,655 g | Discuss this model |
| HMD450FCII | 4,500 kN | 1,940–2,260 g | Discuss this model |
| HMD530FCII | 5,300 kN | 2,260–2,605 g | Discuss this model |
| HMD580FCII | 5,800 kN | 2,605–3,105 g | Discuss this model |
| HMD700FCII | 7,000 kN | 3,890 g | Discuss this model |
Source-backed values are reference data for the listed FCII configurations. Shot weights are stated on a PS basis; final capacity for the selected material, part and mold must be confirmed.
MACHINE–MOLD MATCHING
An existing or planned mold is assessed against the machine envelope, injection requirement, actions and target output. Unknown values can be reviewed after the initial enquiry.
Part geometry, weight, projected area and material establish the molding requirement.
Mold dimensions, thickness and weight are checked against platen, tie-bar and opening space.
Runner, cavities and shot requirement are matched to a suitable injection unit.
Ejection, core actions, connections and controls are confirmed from the mold information.
Cooling, demolding and handling are reviewed before an output commitment is made.

COMPLETE PRODUCTION CONFIGURATION
The injection molding machine and matched mold form the core system. Supporting equipment is selected around the confirmed resin, cooling demand, handling method, utilities and project boundary.

PROJECT EVIDENCE
Review the FCII series representative, fruit and vegetable crate formats, and the machine inspection reference. Project performance is confirmed against the selected machine, mold and trial conditions.

Review the machine, mold, molded crate and agreed operating conditions together when confirming project performance.
MACHINE PRICE & PROJECT QUOTATION
Machine price depends on the selected FCII model and injection unit, mold scope, auxiliaries, automation, logistics and service requirements. Send the basics first; missing engineering details can be confirmed later.
Machine-only, machine + mold and complete-project scopes are quoted separately
No fixed price or production output is published without a confirmed configuration
Mold-only enquiries remain available through the same form
Optional drawings or photos can be attached for review
BUYER QUESTIONS
Yes. Crates, produce baskets and handled plastic baskets can be reviewed within the FCII series. The suitable model, injection unit and mold interfaces still depend on the individual product and project.
Start with a product drawing or clear photo, dimensions, weight, material, mold information if available, target output and preferred handling method. Unknown values do not prevent an initial enquiry.
It may be possible after the mold dimensions, weight, injection requirement, platen and tie-bar fit, ejector, actions, interfaces and sample information are checked. Compatibility is not assumed without that review.
Part geometry, resin, wall and rib layout, runner and cavities, filling and holding, mold cooling, ejection, part handling and the required quality window all affect a stable cycle.
Auxiliary equipment is project-specific. Material handling, cooling, take-out and other supporting equipment are listed as included, optional or excluded in the final quotation.
A machine quote covers the confirmed machine configuration and stated options. A complete-project quote can also include an agreed mold scope, auxiliaries, automation and services, with inclusions and exclusions listed.
Yes. Choose “Mold Only” in the enquiry form. You do not need to purchase a machine to submit a mold requirement.
